History

  • July 1962
    Established Nikkei Sales Center, Inc. as the sales promotion division of Nikkei Inc.
  • March 1983
    Initiated operations anew as Nikkei Sougou Hanbai Co., Ltd. upon taking over the sales operations for publications and special information from among the business lines handled by Nikkei Inc.
  • January 1988
    Integrated operations with Nikkei Osaka Sougou Hanbai Co., Ltd. and Nikkei Seibu Sougou Hanbai Co., Ltd. Built a nationwide network as a general agency for direct sales of diverse specialized information provided by Nikkei Inc. and Group companies to customers through a variety of media.

    Corporate name changed from Nikkei Sougou Hanbai Co., Ltd. to Nikkei Media Marketing, Inc.
  • May 2004
    Merged with Nikkei Quick Information Technology Co., Ltd. Integrated NEEDS-related services accompanying the system development business and developed as a sales company handling almost all the Nikkei Group’s electronic media businesses.

    Obtained Privacy Mark certification (JISQ15001), which is presented to business operators that appropriately handle personal information, from Japan Information Processing Development Center (JIPDEC).
